This unique beer has its origins in British neighborhood pubs where villagers gathered to shake off the damp chill of the English winter. Winter Ales is brewed in the tradition of those winter warmer ales, with a robust, full-bodied flavor that can take the chill out of even the coldest nights.
Made with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Black Malts and Williamette, Fuggle, and Tettenanger Hops. It's 6.2% alcohol and 36 IBUs.

commas says A cold winter’s night

Summit is my beer of choice. I usually drink the EPA, but I’ve ventured over to the Winter Ale several times this winter. This beer is heavy and warms me from the inside. It has a hoppy, creamy taste and is best enjoyed slowly. This is not a guzzler. It’s a perfect beer for a bitter January.
