Flat Earth Belgian Pale Ale
January 14th thru January 20th
Brewer's Description
Flat Earth Belgian-style Pale Ale is inspired by beers like Orval, Fat Tire and Rare Vos. It is made with imported Belgian malt and a Belgian yeast strain. Our Belgian pale ale has a sweet malt aroma with traces of orange, plum and pear. Its complex malt backbone of biscuit and hints of toast compliment the spiciness of the yeast.
Our Belgian-style ale is brewed to be enjoyed with a variety of foods, but try it with some steamed mussels, pizza, a rack of lamb, or even a char-grilled steak. Enjoy!

Rett says If they mated
January 14th, 2008
You know the segment on Conan O’Brian “If they Mated” where they show what the child of two completely different celebrities might look like? After a few you start to expect an ape-faced manish woman with some sort of beard or mustache, lipstick and a huge schnoz. I was understandably a bit scared of what the offspring of a Belgian beer and a Pale Ale might taste like, but let me be the first to say that these two styles make some sweet love. The intensely wonderful smell and flavor of a Belgian mixed with the refreshingly crisp taste of a Pale Ale. Flat Earth, you have found the perfect match.
