Much like snowflakes, no two Snowstorm beers are alike. Once a year, our brewmasters lock themselves in the testing room with a secret selection of fine malts and hops, only emerging when they've hit upon something truly extraordinary.
Snowstorm 2007 was inspired by the Monastic beers of Belgium. Authentic Belgian yeast produces subtle overtones of fruiit and spice. Six malts combined with a touch of Turbinado sugars help to create a complex malt character, with hints of raisins, dark fruit and rum. We hope you enjoy savoring it as much as we enjoyed making it!

flashmcduff says snow strom thurmond

I’m not a changed man after drinking this. That said, I was pleased to have Snow Storm around when the alternative was a case of Miller Lite my relatives were lusting over. Drinkable, and pleasingly so, but definitely not the boldest of winter brews. Sweet, but not too much, with a clean finish. A pretty noncomittal, Minnesota Nice ale.
