Much like snowflakes, no two Snowstorm beers are alike. Once a year, our brewmasters lock themselves in the testing room with a secret selection of fine malts and hops, only emerging when they've hit upon something truly extraordinary.
Snowstorm 2007 was inspired by the Monastic beers of Belgium. Authentic Belgian yeast produces subtle overtones of fruiit and spice. Six malts combined with a touch of Turbinado sugars help to create a complex malt character, with hints of raisins, dark fruit and rum. We hope you enjoy savoring it as much as we enjoyed making it!

my favorite schell beer. almost like an after dinner drink. it’s something between a good madeira and a fine scotch. smooth, sweet, rich; this beer may even be good at room temp if you’re in to that kind of thing. i’ve been thinking of what kind of chow would pair nicely with this, and i’ve decided on vanilla custard; a creme brule. i wish it was a little hoppier though. mmmm…
