Reminds me off another beer style wise from St. Paul, but better.

You make me bitter to not see you again till next year.

Drinkable in medium quanaties with mixed company.

So, I admit I feel guilty about some gals I turned down in High School. Now that I am a bit older and presumably wiser. That is my thoughts now about you Black Helicopter. I had written (wroten, wrotten, writed, chicken scratched, angrily blogged, screw you left brain) un-interested and un-impressed by your bland offerings earlier in life. I had seen you in your Flat Earth begginings, but never knew the pottential hidden beneath.

Some one commented; cold coffe and beer. I whole hardily agree. GOOD cold coffe and BEER.

Absolutely fabulous. Better do it again Flat Earth, or I’ll have to un-friend you on Facebook.

I love really good movies: the ones defined by their directed, written, and acted by characteristics and qualities. Then I also love Die Hard.

So, craft beer by technicality no; gonna drink it all night and still love it in the AM, yes. Still deserves some stars.

Thank you Schell’s for letting this beer live on.

BTW; don’t order a primo in New Ulm, you will get a Premium Light. Just saying, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I like this beer. I was hesitant to even try it, haven’t been too impressed with the other Flat Earth offerings. But, I can definitely see myself picking this beer up again. Solid porter, hint of chocolate and smoke. I think this would be really good on draft.

enjoyable beer. smells good, tastes good, you can drink a bunch of ‘em and still like ‘em.

Light, crisp, and clean; with a slight amount of malt flavor.

When put on the spot I would never think to answer “Pilsner” as my favorite beer style, and it isn’t. But the Schell Pilsner always reminds me that there is life for a pilsner outside of macro-pilsner land. I have always enjoyed this beer, glad brew52 brought us back together.

You can smell the higher alcohol content, followed by a sweet aroma. Has a smooth start and crisp finish; good body, nice head (oh crap this sounds like the wrong kind of posting now), good balance of sweat and slight bitter. Not a personal favorite style, but always look forward to having a few during the cold months.
