I almost passed out after my initial sip…wasn’t expecting that kind of hop flavor. I’m still debating if it was a good or bad thing. High quality, just better with as an ice cream flavor.

It’s a decent Pale Ale…better than most…but I guess it was unwhelming considering the hype.

I hate to say it…but this is my first go-around with the products coming from the Flat Earth Guys. I guess I haven’t seen it as many MPLS bars/taverns as the Flat Earth website indicates. This is a very good Porter. It definitely doesn’t pack an overwhelming punch – which surprised me – but I like that it is not over powering. Goes down smooth, and the general beer drinker should find this easy to drink. I will definitely be going out of my way to check out the Pale Ale, etc. from FE.

A standout Nut Brown

Definitely one of the better beers from Summit Brewery, and a standout in the brown ale genre. Dark in color, but pretty sweet in taste. This is one I will look forward to each year once the fall months hit. Relatively good price too.
